Rooted in lived experience, driven by a commitment to dignity and justice.
The KESHO Alliance is a youth-led organization which promotes Peacebuilding, Democracy, and Human rights targeting underserved and hard-to-reach communities across Kenya. Our work is grounded in the philosophy that young people are the future leaders who hold the power to build more peaceful, inclusive, and equitable societies.
Born in Garissa, one of Kenya’s most marginalized counties, our story comes from lived experience. We are young people who understand the realities of exclusion, insecurity, and limited civic space. This drives our commitment to create opportunities that restore dignity, strengthen community resilience, and ensure meaningful participation in governance for every young person.
A peaceful, just, and sustainable society where every young person can enjoy their rights, shape the decisions that affect their lives, and use their creativity and leadership to build resilient, inclusive, and thriving communities.
To empower young women and men to lead change through peacebuilding, civic engagement, human rights advocacy, climate action, and youth innovation. We strengthen communities and influence policies to create inclusive societies.
We uphold these values in every space we serve and in every relationship we build.
